I am writing to let you know that the sale of our home on Ashlock Drive has actually "gone through" and is completed.  The check is being FedX'd today.  Please just toss the keys.

 

Now, having said that, I also want to say, I will NEVER do a FSBO transaction again in this life, or any other life.  I would NEVER recommend the FSBO route to anyone I know or even to someone that I do not know!

 

I understand why people have realtors, you have multi talents, or the "good" agents are multitalented, like yourself.  You know what questions you can answer and when to refer to lawyers, etc.  Realtors are Risk Managers in my book, you manage the multiple risks associated with selling / buying property in a respective state.  It isn't like I didn't know this, it is just that saying, "the older you get the dumber you get!" is a true saying.  You have friends & relatives who have sold property by themselves and you hear them say how easy it was.  Well, BULL!.... they didn't do it is all that I can conclude.  I am still not certain that  somehow this recent FSBO sale could come back and haunt us...God forbid but if you play out a worst case scenario, or if you are into sayings, ANYTHING is possible!!

 

So Danny, I cannot thank you enough for the assistance that you provided to us.  We sincerely appreciate it.  If I can ever be a reference for how not to do it, let me know, I would talk to anyone about it.
