KELLER WILLIAMS RAISES $29,000 FOR TEXAS CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL
Keller Williams Realty Northeast associates present a check for more than $29,000 to Kelly Cliburn (second from right) of Texas Children’s Hospital. Keller Williams representatives pictured (from left) are: Donna Duhon, team leader; John Buchanan, KWCares Masquerade Ball chairman and Keller Williams agent; Denise Mack, Keller Williams agent; and Michael Clapp, general manager.

The money was raised at the KWCares Masquerade Ball hosted by the real estate firm last fall. An additional $3,000 generated from the event went to KW Cares - a tax exempt charity created to support Keller Williams Realty associates and their families in times of extreme hardship.
The funds raised by the elaborate costume ball held at the Marriott Hotel at George Bush Intercontinental Airport have been earmarked for two key initiatives of the hospital: Texas Children's Newborn Center® and the Texas Children's Hospital Maternity Center. “Keller Williams is proud to take part in helping to establish these important facilities with this donation,” said Duhon.
Cliburn, Texas Children’s senior associate director of development, commented on the importance of the donation: "At Texas Children's Newborn Center, we care for thousands of sick and premature infants, regardless of whether or not their families can pay. Now, with plans in place for a comprehensive Maternity Center, we are broadening our vision to include caring for the mothers of those children as well. None of this would be possible without support from community leaders such as Keller Williams."
Gold sponsors of the KWCares Masquerade Ball were: Houston Community Newspapers, Keller Williams Northeast, Genesis Mortgage and First American Title. Other sponsors included: Chicago Title, Fred Astaire Dance Studio, Fidelity National Title, Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, Stewart Title, American Home Warranty and Grace's Unique Gift Boutique.
