A suspected bank robber was off the streets Monday night after turning himself in to Pearland police.
Danny Alfred King is charged with the robbery of the Woodforest National Bank in Pearland on Feb. 28.
“This just shows that when the community gets involved with police good things happen. We got the information out early, we received leads and we got good suspect information, which lead to the apprehension.”, said Pearland Police Dept. Detective Jon Matherne.
Sgt. Castillo of the PPD thanked everyone involved in the case, including patrol officers, crime scene personnel, FBI agents and witnesses.
King was transported to the Brazoria County Detention Center on $100,000 bond.
