Brazoria County Fair Starts Friday
This year’s fair kicks off Friday and runs through Oct. 20, giving area residents plenty of time to check out the diversity of fun and excitement at the Brazoria County fairgrounds in Angleton.
If you like good music, you will love this years artists. Offerings range from live, open-air concert performances on Friday (Zona Jones and Roger Creager) and Saturday (Cole Deggs and the Lonesome, Jarrod Birmingham and Kevin Fowler) nights, to daily live music at the beer garden (Friday, The Grateful Geezers; Saturday, Grupo Vida/The Electric Cowboys; Thursday, Tin Star Texas Band; Oct. 19, The Intercoastal Pirates; and Oct. 20, Nooney and the Zydeco Floaters).
It doesn’t cost much to visit the fair. On Friday and Saturday, at $12 for adults and $5 for kids, it’s a bargain. And from Sunday on, that price drops to $10 for adults.
This year’s fair motto: “Service, Education and Leadership for the Future.”
