HOUSING 'FORECLOSURE PETS'
HOUSTON (Houston Chronicle) -- Several million Americans are at risk of foreclosure. Sixty-three percent own pets. Cheryl Land, president of Integrated Mortgage Solutions, has founded No Paws Left Behind to help deal with pets left homeless as a result of foreclosure. Her nonprofit organization was formed after she saw photos of abandoned dogs, cats, chickens and horses. Her mortgage field service, which hires contractors to inspect foreclosed homes for lenders, provided the photos. In some cases, animals are left behind because their owners had to move into an apartment where pets are not allowed.
Please don't leave your pets behind... They deserve better...
